Eternal Egypt - Home
Wow. I couldn't begin to describe the wealth of features in this site. From the Flash intro screen to the timelines to the maps and artifacts; webcams, animations, 360 views; just amazing.

Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, along with nine musems, partner agencies and our good friends at IBM produced this incredible site.

Oh, to top it all off, IBM embedded text-to-speech translation on all of the artifact description pages.

Media Psychology - Division 46 of the APA
Caveat bloggee, I guess! The American Psychological association maintains a division for Media Psychology! A haven for dubious scholarship, I'll bet. Still, you may find a treat here or there to get into kids minds. This link is the list of grad schools in the subject.

Custom Mapping System
Lets you creat your own maps! Produces maps in jpg, or PNG, and uses SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). SVG, by the way, is rapidly getting standardized. Mozilla Firefox 0.8 comes with SVG; you must turn it on, though.
